Meet our Spring 2004
Trainers SCNM is
pleased to announce the return of our trainer Paul Cameron and welcome the
arrival of our new trainer, Jonny Corbett for the Spring 2004 season.
Paul Cameron:

Paul
is 31 years old from South London, England. Prior to working in the USA he
was a Fitness manager for a health club chain in London. He undertook
personal training sessions, and group fitness classes such as boxercise,
circuit training and indoor studio cycling as well as the daily running of
a large club.
Growing
up in London, Paul played soccer every day at school and at the local
park. He also played school soccer at district / borough level,
representing Wandsworth borough in competitions such as the London youth
games. In his teens, Paul played amateur soccer and went on to sign for
his local semi-pro team, Tooting and Mitcham at the age of 21.
He played for Tooting and Mitcham for 2 years before deciding just
to play for fun.
Paul then went on to play for several successful amateur teams over
the next 5 years, winning various league and cup trophies including the
London FA senior cup.
He
currently holds the English Football Association’s Leaders and
Preliminary awards (UEFA ‘B’ equivalent), as well as various fitness
training and health club management qualifications.
The
Major League Soccer Camps company motto is: “To lift people beyond their
vision of capability”, and this is something Paul strives to achieve
through quality soccer coaching and coach education.
The
1st time Paul came to New Milford was in the Fall of 2001 and
he enjoyed it so much he keeps coming back! As well as this being his 6th
season here in the last 3-1/2 years as a youth soccer coach, Paul is also
the current New Milford high school boys Varsity soccer head coach.
Paul
looks forward to another fun-packed year in America, and welcomes any
questions queries or comments you may have.
He can be contacted via email at: cameronsw12@hotmail.com,
or you can submit a question to our “Ask the pro’s” link on the
Soccer Club of New Milford website.
Best wishes from Paul Cameron.
We
welcome Paul's return!
