Comments
Despite the score, this match has been the toughest game of the season so
far. A well coached Watertown team hung tough for the first half, and at
times played better than our team. However, our boys were relentless and
able to capitalize by going ahead 1 X 0 on a beautiful loft over the goalie
by striker Andre Chappuis.
During the second half our boys kept the ball away from Watertown and
created several opportunities by exploring the wings with support from the
back. The long balls stopped to work for Watertown and after two quick goals
our Metrostars boys never looked back. One of the second half goals
highlight was a great header by striker Spencer Devlin assisted by a
beautiful cross from winger John Tower.
A true team effort!!
