Tyler LaCava kept Southbury at bay and was an agressive goal keeper. Jacob
Scott picked up were Tyler left on in the 2nd half. They were both on their
toes and did great at keeping Southbury from scoring. Penalty shots were
made, but could not get past the goal keepers.
Offense
Offense played a hard game. Outstanding play by Ian Curtis, he game with his
head in the game and played to win. Kaelan Donadio, Reid Tuomala, Jake
Branco played with great determination. Jake scored the 2 goals of the game
with great assists by John Hansell and Kaelan Donadio. Kyle Russel and
Matthew Giannascoli kept the ball moving with great attmeps at goal.
Defense
Offense was played with great foot work and passing by Joshe Andrade, Justin
Brelling, Tommy Lang and Jared Novicky. Jordan Branco played a great game
keeping Southbury away from the goal. He had great determination and speed
to get control of the ball and pass it to the offense.
Comments
It was a great game with the parents on the edge of their seats. It was a
hard fought game against a bigger team, both in size and numbers.
