Our first round CT State Cup game was played against Rocky Hill. It was a
very slow start by our boys; however, they were able to break penetration by
keeping the ball at the offensive end, and by using the wings to create
several scoring opportunities.
Our defense, nicknamed "The Wall" and played by Aaron Laranetto, Ben Bayers,
Jaden Williams and Nick Teixeira, was relentless.
Our midfield was brilliant. Played by Niko Stefanatos, Louis Alhage, Nick
Cianciolo, John Tower, and Dalton Rowell, the midfield did an excellent job
supporting our strikers while providing backup coverage for the defense. Our
strikers were outstanding as well. Andre Chappuis and Spencer Devlin worked
very hard and combined for several nice plays. Andre had a hat trick.
