Good ball movement can trump speed and size, as the "Fire" showed today. No
selfish play whatsoever from every girl on the team--this is a real team.
Kirsten Potts' passing was the highlight--two diagonal passes from left back
to right mid with a length about 30 yards. Really nice. Emma Fleuette had a
nice assist to Nina Barrett who buried a hard shot into the corner. Helen
Bayers assisted Sarah Coshal, who took a nice low shot into the corner.
Rachel Weir hit two nice hard shots on unassisted goals. Christine Habjan
and Gigi Fusco were terrific in goal. Jena Hook played her strongest game
yet.
