Nick Eherts and Jonathan Rajagopalan split covering our goal. Both played
very well. We suffered a loss to a few poor goals that were not the fault of
our keepers. They played tough and should be valuable assets for this
spring.
Offense
Ivan Candido, Cole Case, Griffin Baker, Eric Trautwein, Calvin Debourbon put
constant pressure on the opposing goal supported by an aggressive set of
halfbacks (Ryan Lynch, Austin Santos, Scott Eherts).
Defense
We played a new formation that allowed Nick Pitcher, Westin Coon, Alex Symon
and Jamie Kilberg to hold New Hartford on their side of the field for 90% of
the game.
Comments
This was our teams first game playing together. They are a new spring team
playing up on Division One. I was incredibly pleased with their talent and
teamwork. They made good decisions. We fell victim to a few kick and run
attempts - their only solution to penetrate our defense. Despite the score,
our boys played exceptionally well controlling the pace of the game. Chins
high!
