Nick Eherts and Jonathan Rajagopalan played an excellent defensive game
in goal.
Offense
The entire team played well as a TEAM this game. Ryan Lynch tasted a
goal, but did not let that hunger detract from his obligation to his team.
What an awesome display this game.
Defense
Karanjit Singh, Westin Coon and Matthew Schulz showed up to the game with
their feet ready to defend. And defend they did. New Milford dominated the
field at least 90% of the game.
Comments
The boys learned that working together saves energy AND wins games. The
icing on the cake was the shut-out! The boys successfully completed the job
they set out to accomplish.
Jonathan Rajagopalan saving an attempt from Terryville's forward
Matthew Schulz covering goal for his teammate Jonathan Rajagopalan while
he prepares for a goal kick. Nich Eherts positions himself in case of
a steal from Terryville while remaining open for a potential pass.
Alex Symon moves the ball forward while Calvin DeBourbon and Griffin
Baker maintain space between them for a successful advance up the field
