Denise Landry and Tara Lynch each played in net. They both played well
and are great keepers. I am very fortunate as a coach to have 2 very
compitent goal keepers.
Offense
It is difficult to single out any player as so many contributed today.
The offense worked hard and as a team to earn 12 shots. We unfortunately did
not convert today.
Defense
Olivia Knight, Caleigh White, Katie Warner, Breanne Rehaag, Kayla Nelson
all played defense today. They played great and continue to interupt the
flow of any offense they face. They held Southbury to a limited number of
shots and onlt conceded counter attacking goals.
Comments
I am extremely happy with how hard the girls worked in the game even when
they were down 2-0. To me that is the mark of true winners and I walk away
proud of their effort. They too should be proud and commended for their team
work.
