smiles of pride topping Sherman 5-2 to wrap up season with 5-3 record!

Nathaniel Diamond and Alex Martin did not see much action but stood ready
to defend in the pouring rain. Jarod Reidle saw most of the action in the
second half at Sherman boosted their shooting power. Jarod caught an amazing
penalty kick through the pouring rain to keep Sherman's score low.
Offense
Jack Kavovit's superior ball handling ability has led the young Green
Machine in scoring this season. Alex Rajagopalan displayed talent as he was
able to get into the action and steal the ball while showing wits to pass it
to his teammates.
Defense
The offensive team was assisted entirely by their amazing defense.
Nathaniel Diamond has proven his love for the game through his solid speed
and defensive abilities. Nathaniel and Cal Martin were determined not to
allow the ball to get past them. And it was only a very few times that
Sherman succeeded.
Comments
Every team needs a game like yesterday - rainy, hard played, unrelenting
defense, continual attacking. These boys were cold, wet and tired but smiled
all the way home! Smiles of pride they deserved as they finished their
season with 5 wins and 3 losses.
