Alexandra McGowan, Julia Valentine, Morgan Gallagher A total of 10 saave
between the three girls that guarded the goal. All three did a fantastic job
and were quick on there feet to stop any agressive attack by the shepaug
offense.
Offense
The midfield controlled the game. Morgan Gallagher, Natalie Kannan, Mia
Carlone provided excellent support and an offensive punch. Kristi Montemurro,
Sophie Amaral, Hannah Young and Vicoria Kozar were controlled and deadly.
Defense
Julia Valentine, Julianna Fusco, Emily Sanders and Theresa DiMascio were
the backbone. They defended the midfield line as though it was the goal and
kept Shepaug defensive for most of the game.
Comments
The girls did an awesome job at control and working with controlled
passing and containment when it came to defense. They were extremely
impressive to watch.
