Jarod Riedl and John Habjan took the initiative and raced to and from
blocking over 8 attempts from New Fairfield.
Offense
Jack Kavovit continued to press towards the goal taking shots at every
opportunity. Jarod Riedl (2nd half forward) not only played a great
defensive game but showed he was able to maneuver the ball away from the
opponent. Robbie Mordente took the ball down the field for a great breakaway
and continues his attempt to score. Alex Rajagopalan played with the heart
of a lion refusing to back down from the ball and the opponent. Michael
LaNoce hustled the midfield assisting both forwards and fullbacks.
Defense
Nathaniel Diamond grows in his defensive position as his natural ability
to protect the keeping shines through. Jordon Hill showed remarkable
improvemement this game and continues to take this season to the next level
Comments
The team has practiced hard and has begun to learn the strategy of the
game while keeping their skills intact. The drills are paying off but a win
would have been impossible without the heart of every player! This team
played as a TEAM on Saturday.
