Kristi Montemurro, Emily Sanders, Morgan Gallagher, Natalie Kannan, and
Alex McGowan all teamed together to keep the offense alive. Halfbacks were
the key to this game.
Defense
Julia Valentine, Julianna Fusco, Theresa Dimascio, Theres Kurzawa, and
Michell Pitcher. their speed at shutting down the Litchfield offense was key
to control of the game.
Comments
Unbelievable game. New Milford out shot Litchfield 3-1 in the first half
and 2-1 in the second. Just could not get it in the net. Litchfield was a
fast break team that just could not penetrate the fast defense of New
Milford. Litchfield scored with 15 minutes on the clock and New Milford did
not give up and scored the tie score with 2 seconds left. Awesome effort
which defined the team all season.
