Offense

The offense came alive in this game! Every player on the field for New Milford deserves credit for this win. Aside from the scorers/assist makers-strong efforts were had by Donald Tuz, Luke Anderson, Sean Sedore, Mike Piper, Collin Bohdan, Raj Joshi, and Casey Ellman. Within 5 minutes of game start the N.M. boys had their first shot on goal from Danny Mcdonald off a brilliant feed from Noah Rossiter. It was "all-go" from there with some sharp passing and quick, explosive attacks. Coach Tower deserves a job-well-done for really having his side ready and roaring to play in this season finale.

Defense

Alex Immohr was tenacious defensively, and made some quality passes up from the "D" line to launch counter-attacks. Eric Zhu stuck his foot onto every Danbury attacking ball he could. Zack Disorbo and Matt Coshal consistently appeared when needed to smother the Danbury attack. Raj Joshi had his defensive game of the season, along with a fired-up Donald Tuz.

Comments

N.M. netted their first goal on a sweet chipped ball from Mike Piper to Anthony Morin-who angled a pass thru to the deadly Connor Knight, who ripped the nets. Connor followed-up with his 2nd goal to make it 2-0 New Milford, off a hard-driven pass from Zack Disorbo. Alex Immohr beat one defender and snuck a lead pass onto the feet of charging Anthony Morin who fired it into the net. A "PK" (yes, again) was awarded to Danbury, who then converted to make it 3-1. Shortly thereafter, a loose, bouncing ball-perhaps deflected down off the arm of a Danbury attacker- found the net making it 3-2. Over the final 20 minutes the Green+White pressed the attack. A number of fine give+go/"cat+mouse" inside passing maneuvers resulted in: a just shy header by Morin; a near-miss footed shot by Knight; and finally a "nail-in coffin" goal by Cronin as he sliced past 2 defenders. This was truly an all-out team effort, and should any team member not have gotten a mention here-I was amiss. Thanks for a great season guys-you should all be proud!
