breakaway. She scored the second goal by taking advantage of a mistake by
Danbury's goalie. New Milford had many opportunities with Devon Woods,
Claire Brofford, Amanda Eng, and Caleigh White all looking to goal and
having scoring chances. Breanne Rehaag tied the score at 3 by netting a free
kick outside the 18.
Defense
Katie Warner and Breanne Rehaag stepped up big late in the game to help
slow down Danbury's attack. Olivia Knight continues to anchor the girls and
swept up anyone that gets through.
Comments
The game could have gone either way. Danbury outshot New Milford, but the
Green Lightning was able to convert at the right times to tie up the game.
