Welcome
to the spring season:
On
behalf of the Soccer Club of New Milford, we hope your soccer season is
off to a good start. The
number of players registered this spring is very high again and the board
and our MLS trainers are working hard to meet the needs of every player.
Thanks for participating. We
hope you have an enjoyable and successful season.
Fall Registration:
Registration
for the 2005 Fall soccer season will be held at the Connecticut
Sports Complex Saturday May 21 (9am – 12noon) and Wednesday May 25
(6pm – 9pm). Registration forms will be mailed, can be printed
from the website and should be distributed at school. Please be sure to have all the information required as
incomplete applications can not be accepted. This is a walk-in registration and the registration deadline for
Division 1 players is June 3rd.
Don’t delay, late fees will be assessed after May 25.
Parent
Meeting May 9
The
club will hold its first ever Parents meeting Monday May 9 in the Sarah
Noble Cafeteria at 8:15pm. All
parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
Board members and MLS trainers will present their plans for the
club going forward and welcome your questions and comments.

NEW!
Pre K program coming this fall
If
there is enough interest SCNM will offer a program for 4 year olds (4
before December 31). This
will be a very fun and relaxing program to give kids an outlet for all
that excess energy! Look for
more information during fall registration.

Camps
Challenger
Sports will run a camp June 20-24 for players ages 5-16 for $115 and
includes a free ball & T-shirt. Players signed up on line at
www.challengersports.com by May 6th will receive a free British Soccer

SCNM will sponsor an MLS camp August 15-19.
Half day is 9-Noon $123 and full day is 9-3pm $163 and includes a
free ball and tee shirt. Players age 5-18 are welcome. For info call

Meetings
Our
monthly board meetings are open to any member of SCNM.
We invite you to join us to share any ideas you have to improve our
club or if you are interested in volunteering your time. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at the
Richmond Center at 7:30 pm. Our
November meeting on 11/18 is our Annual General Meeting.
Anyone who wants to learn more about the club, the board or how you
can help is invited to attend.

sessions at Sarah Noble open to any player interested in extra practice.

Goal
Keeper clinic: Thursdays, 6.30pm - 7.45pm with James.

clinic (anyone U10 and under): Fridays, 4pm - 5.15pm with Paul.
