Season Is Underway
Welcome
to the Fall 2004 soccer season at SCNM. With over 450 kids and 4 MLS
trainers, the club is poised for its best season yet.
Have fun, work hard and good luck to all our players. Thanks for

Welcome
to the Fall 2004 soccer season. We
hope you join us in looking forward to another exciting season of soccer
for all the players and their families.
Team Equipment and Uniforms
If
any player needs new equipment or uniforms, please contact the appropriate
board member. We’re here to
help you enjoy your season. If
you want a warm-up suit, backpack or need new socks, just let us know.
State Cup
The
State Cup Tournament officially begins on September 25.
Good luck to all those teams that are going to participate this
fall.
Tournament Winners
Congratulations
to the U-14 Girls for their Tournament Championship over Labor Day
Weekend. The Dynamites won the Naugatuck Soccer Tournament and are off to
a great start of the fall season. Well
done!

to learn a new training drill or read up about world cup soccer? You can get access to it all.
High School Soccer
Our
lead MLS Trainer Paul Cameron returns to the sidelines this year as Head
Coach of the Boys Varsity Soccer Team at New Milford High School.
Please look for their schedule in the paper or on the web and come
out to support the team this season. With several seniors and exciting
young players, the squad will be fun to watch.
Board
Meetings
Our
monthly board meetings are open to any member of SCNM.
We invite you to join us to share any ideas you have to improve our
club or if you are interested in volunteering your time. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at the
Richmond Center at 7:30 pm.
Open
Board Positions
The
club has openings at Vice President, Girls Coordinator, Field Coordinator
and Division 1 Tryout Coordinator. Please
contact a board member or attend one of our board meetings if you’re
interested.
Vice
President –
Helps the president communicate and implement decisions by the state and
district down to our board. V.P.
also helps the board to act within all by-laws and guidelines and as a
member of the executive committee resolves conflicts and reviews all
special requests.
Girls
Coordinator
is responsible for acting as a liaison between the board and the coaches,
trainers, team managers and parents in the girls travel program.
The Girls Coordinator is the point person to handle team formation,
roster development, tryout results and more.
