There are many ways to help if you are interested in volunteering in the Soccer Club of New Milford.  In addition to board positions that may be available, we welcome your help with many of the programs and projects that we sponsor each season.  To find out how you can help, please join us at our Annual General Meeting on November 20, 2003 or consider attending one of our monthly board meetings, which are generally held on the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Richmond Center.  Or, please feel free to contact Renee Bradley, SCNM President, at 350-1889/ mommucks@aol.com for additional information.

Connecticut Sports Complex

New Milford is very fortunate to be the home of an indoor soccer facility.   The Connecticut Sports Complex is located at 37 Lanesville Road in New Milford.  In addition to being a great spot to watch soccer at all levels, they offer soccer programs for all ages and abilities.  Keep your skills sharp throughout the winter.  For more information please call Karl Noivadhana 860-350-6655 or visit www.ctsportscomplex.com

Alhage Family Gets Special Thanks!

The Soccer Club of New Milford wishes to extend a special thank you to the Alhage family of New Milford.  They have been hosting Chris, one of our MLS trainers, this past fall.  This has been a tremendous help to our club.  We thank them for their generosity and hope it has been a wonderful experience for their family.

Green Wave Soccer Makes SWC’s

Congratulations to Paul Cameron and the New Milford High School Green Wave Varsity Soccer Team.  Their 8-6-1 record qualified them for the Southwest Conference playoffs.  In his inaugural season, Paul has exceeded the expectations of many with his team’s winning record and bright future. We wish Paul and his team the best of luck for the remainder of the 2003 season and encourage everyone to show support by attending the games.

Caldo Pre-Premier Teams

U-11 and U-12 players interested in playing at the Pre-Premier level should contact Scott Anderson (203) 266-5897 (girls) and Jordano Santos (203) 758-9418 (boys).   A limited number of spots are available for these age groups. Younger players should contact Eric Voide at 203-759-1131.

We Need Your Help

Whether you volunteer for a spot on the board or just want to help a specific committee, the Soccer Club of New Milford welcomes your help.  Committees are a big help to certain board positions that need extra people-power.  Please contact Renee Bradley 350-1889.

SCNM Team Working Hard

Do you follow the SCNM teams each week?  Our exceptional website has up-to-date scores and schedules for virtually every team.  We've got strong teams playing soccer here in New Milford and the kids are giving 100% effort.  Our coaches and trainers are working to help every player develop their soccer skills and sportsmanship.  Congratulations to all on a fine Fall season.
