Danbury - Kenosia Field(s)
Kenosia / Thunderbird field directions:
Route 7 North : Take route 7 North past Danbury Fair Mall to the merge
with route 84 East. Stay in the right hand lane and immediately take
exit 4 (Lake Ave.). Proceed to the end of the ramp. Make a right at
the light and go 1.3 miles on Mill Plain Rd. At the 5th traffic light (
not counting the I84 ramp light ), make a left onto West Kenosia.
(Fleet Bank on the left; Seven –11 at the intersection ). Go .2 miles
over the bridge and make an immediate right turn onto Kenosia Ave.
Thunderbird Field is on the left. Make a left at the Americo Vespucci
sign for parking next to the field. For the Kenosia Fields, continue
another .1 of a mile on Kenosia Ave. and make a left into Kenosia Park.
I84 West exit 4 (Lake Ave): Take right at the end of ramp onto Mill
Plain Rd. See above.
I84 East exit 4 (Mill Plain Rd.): At end of ramp, make a right at the
light. Follow directions above except you will go through 6 lights (not
counting I84 ramp light) and 1.4 miles on Mill Plain Rd.
